One of the network’s leaders, Maggie Mkandawire said this on Saturday during an activity dubbed wellness program that the network conducted at Lusubilo Music Centre.

Mkandawire said overall wellness is a necessity and the program aimed at reaching out to communities especially young women and help them live a productive life.

“Through this program, we want to reach out to young women in communities who go through different situations including sexual, physical and mental health and help them realize necessary information from basic level of things like how their bodies function and what to do to live a productive life,” Mkandawire said.

Osman Zgambo, commonly known as Osman Arts who facilitated “Think and Paint” exercise during the event, called on participants to value themselves.

“Ladies should not underrate themselves as the network wants to empower them, they need to take advantage of this opportunity and become productive young ladies in our society that the country can rely on,” Zgambo said.
