Inkosi Chindi of Mzimba district on Sunday hailed President Lazarus Chakwera’s administration for significant stride registered in Mzimba district especially in the area of infrastructure developments.

Chindi made the remarks at Bulala School ground in his area where Malawi Congress Party (MCP) held its political rally.

Speaking to the gathering, Inkosi Chindi gave an example of Chakazi bridge saying it has brought a huge relief on mobility in the area.

Chindi then asked his subjects to vote for Chakwera and all MCP candidates in the coming elections in order to let them complete the unfinished projects.

“Mzimba is after developments and on that we need to thank this administration. For this to continue, you must all vote for Chakwera and Henry Mumba as our MP for Mzimba Hora constituency as well as Adamson Mkandawire for Mzimba central constituency among others,” said Chindi.

Guest of honor for the event, Uchizi Mkandawire who is the party’s second deputy secretary general as well as Minister of Youths and Sports warned the gathering to be careful with some politicians who acts as saints while not.

Mkandawire said only Chakwera and MCP are serious especially when it comes to develop Mzimba district as well as the whole northern region.

“We are in election period where some politicians behave like sheep while they are wolves. You have seen yourself how Chakwera loves this region no any administration has done what he has achieved. You therefore need to give him another term and don’t forget to vote for MCP candidates,” Mkandawire said.

During the day, the party unveiled its Director of Economic Affairs Henry Mumba as its candidate for Mzimba Hora constituency.

In his remarks, Mumba vowed to be a servant leader saying “that’s what Chakwera teaches them.”

Mzimba central shadow MP, Adamson Mkandawire who is also Presidential advisor said Chakwera and MCP has a lot to do in the district as well as the whole region hence the need to give them another term.
