Mwanamvekha cheers up displaced cyclone survivors in Mulanje South East

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) presidential aspirant and member of Parliament for Chiradzulu South, Joseph Mwanamvekha, over the weeked visited and cheered up people affected by Tropical Cyclone Freddy in Mulanje South East.

Mulanje South East is held by Naomi Kilekwa Phiri. It is one of the areas, which have not been adequately serviced with relief supplies because the roads are cut.

Thus, Kilekwa knelt down to thank Mwanamvekha for donating to her affected constituents with buckets, 200 bags of maize flour, 100 chickens, beans, and 10 cartons of eggs and children food packs. 

Mwanamvekha assured the survivors that he will be with them all through up until they get up on their feet.

He also urged them to send their kids to school when schools open and pledged to visit the school kids soon.

Mulanje South East constituency has six camps with about 2, 000 households and over 600 school going kids.
