The Central Bankers announced Wednesday afternoon that it has acquired the signature of the 2021/22 TNM Super League season golden boot winner and three other players.

But in a letter addressed to FAM made available to Nthanda Times, Bullets’ Chief Administrative Officer Albert Chigoga said Kajoke has a running contract with the people’s team which runs up to 31st March 2023.

Chigoga added that the Tnm Super League record winners are surprised that Kajoke has signed for the Central Bankers without tendering a resignation.

Kajoke, his transfer has brought controversy

“Hassan Kajoke signed a contract with us on 1st April 2020 for a duration of 36 months (3 years). His contract is expected to expire on 31st March 2023 (Find attached the player’s employment contract). Hassan Kajoke has not resigned as Nyasa Big Bullets player nor released by the club under any circumstances to warrant signing of a contract with another club,” reads part of the letter.

Kajoke who did not have enough game time at the people’s team in the 2022 season following the arrival of Babatunde Adepoju has signed an undisclosed contract with the Central Bankers.
