Baka City FC earns promotion to Super League

Karonga district will now have two football teams in the elite TNM Super League following the promotion of Baka City FC – The Clever Boys – to the elite league.


With two games to wind up the 2023 Simso Innobuild Premier League Division, the Clever Boys lead the 8 team table with 28 points from 12 games, seconded by Ekwendeni United who have 21 points from the same number of games.

Karonga based Baka City FC have been promoted to the country’s elite TNM Super League after winning the  Northern Region Football Association  Simso Innobuild Premier League Division, with two games to play.

Baka City Fc to play in Tnm Super League next season

Baka has earned the promotion following their away win to Ekwendeni United on Saturday.

In the two remaining games, Baka will play Embangweni United in away fixture before hosting Mayamiko.

Baka joins Karonga United in the elite league representing Karonga district.
