Chakwera Inspects Construction of new Military houses in Kasungu
President Dr Lazarus Chakwera on Monday Inspected 110 new Security houses being constructed at Engineering Battalion in Kasungu.

.The purpose of the visit was to appreciate the progress of the houses. Once the construction of the houses is finished it will provide space to military personnel that are currently renting private apartments

Construction agent for Fidelis Construction Company, Robert Malimba, gave an assurance that his company will make sure that all the houses are finished in time as they have all resources at hand.

“We are remaining with few things to finish the project so that they are handed over to the government,” said Malimba
Government is currently constructing 10,000 houses for security agencies nationwide.
Upon arrival at the Battalion President Chakwera was welcomed by the Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima, Minister of Mining Monica Chayang’anamuno , Minister of Lands Deus Ngumba, Secretary to the office of President and Cabinet Collen Zamba and other government officials
