According to sub inspector Macfarlen Mseteka of Jenda police Station, Simon was arrested on November 06, 2023, after following up on a tip off that he was offering for sale human private parts.
Due to his arrest, it has been established that there are also other two unknown people who took part in the gruesome murder of Lyton Ndabandaba.

“According to his admissions, it is believed that they threw away the private parts at the graveyard of Ndabandaba village after failing to secure a market for the tissue. Attempts to recover this human tissue has proven futile as it is also believed that animals could have eaten them,” he said.
Mseteka said investigations are under way to trace the remaining culprits so that they are brought to justice.
Simon has since been charged with murder, which is contrary to Section 209 of the penal code and will appear before court in due course.
