Speaking at a field demonstration at Mwimba College of Agriculture, officials and agro-dealers showcased new soil-friendly technologies that they say could help Malawi fight hunger and boost yields. One capsule of the new fertilizer covers an acre at just K45,000, a major saving compared to chemical fertilizers.
