Nthanda Times has established that Chester demanded an MK7.5 million signing on fees to strike a new 3-year deal, an amount the team said it cannot manage, and proposed MK6 million to which the player agreed.

However, the deal went sour as the team suggested paying the MK6 million signing-on fee in three installments starting with MK6 million which the player refused.

Posting on his Facebook page, Chester confirmed that the two parties had agreed to disagree, and mentioned he is now a free agent.
