“Improved results is just a start up, as a team we took a deflection of the war as today’s game was so important to us as our aim is to be champions of this season,”  he said.

KUMWEMBE was voted man of the match after his brace sealed Wanderers’ victory

Coach for Karonga United, Trevor Kajawa said it was a game of two half as they lead the first half after being defeated in the second half.

He promised to improve their performance on next match.

“The team tried its very best and it’s very painful to be defeated after leading the first half of the game and thereafter endure a disappointing performance in second half of the game,” Kajawa added.

Following the results, Wanderers are on position one with 40 points, Chitipa United are second with 39 points while FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are third with 37 points.
