Calister Kachulu, one of the organisers, told Nthanda Times in an interview that all interested participants must be between the ages of 18 and 29.

Registration is to be completed through the official Miss Malawi website, and each applicant is required to pay a registration fee of K20,000.
Kachulu emphasized that all contestants must also submit a consent letter from their parents or guardians in order to be eligible to participate.
“We have put in place all the necessary steps to ensure a smooth and transparent process for everyone who wants to take part in this year’s Miss Malawi competition,” Kachulu said.
She also encouraged more women to take part, highlighting the attractive prizes that await the winner of Miss Malawi 2025.
The registration process, which began on 1 May, will close on 31 May 2025.
