The spokesperson of the grouping, Victor Khwangwanya, told Nthanda Times on Tuesday that they have been engaging the Ministry of Homeland Security to ensure the court order is enforced, but to no avail.

Khwangwanya said this is the reason they resolved to hold a vigil to force the government to take action.

He accused President Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera of failing to stamp his authority on the matter.

Last year, the court ordered all refugee and asylum seeker to return to the camp and government set February 1, 2023, as the last day for the relocation.
