In a post-match interview, FOMO head coach, Mapopa Kent Msukwa said his dreams have come true as his main focus was to win and qualify for the Super League.
He said he planned well before the game, knowing that Ntopwa is of higher weight than them.

“I knew that it was going to be a tough game considering that we have beaten them twice and today I had a different game plan which led the team to succeed. I really appreciate the boys and the whole panel for fighting to this extent,” said Msukwa.
Ntopwa Technical Director, Isaac Jomo Osman accepted the defeat saying that is how football goes adding the 2023 football season has taught them a lot which in the long run will help the team to succeed.
“I can’t comment much because I am upset with the defeat but I know anything can happen in the game of football, today’s defeat has taught us not how to handle situations in football,” said Jomo.
The Sunday’s results mean that northern region will have Baka City, the central region will have Kawinga FC while FOMO has picked the southern region slot in the TNM Super League.
