Kumingoli music bash unveils three international artist

Organisers of the Kumingoli Music Bash have unveiled three international artists and one local artist to headline the music event

In an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana) on Thursday, Chief Executive Officer for Sound Addicts, Shadreck Kamukusha, said the three artists are Yomaps from Zambia, Black Diamond from South Africa, and Alaine who have confirmed their presence at the event.

“Black Diamond and Yomaps have posted on their Facebook page about their coming to the event and Alaine will also post on her Facebook page soon. We are promising top-notch entertainment from 10 am to 6 am the next day with four international artists with one which we will unveil in the coming days,” he said.

He said this is going to be the biggest musical event of the year with a projected audience of over 20,000 people.

“The tickets have been out since the 27 of February and so far people have been enjoying the promotional tickets by Bufen a product of Kentum products limited.

“The tickets are going at four thousand kwacha and they will be going up after every three weeks by 2000 kwacha or so whilst the VIP Tickets are at MK35,000. they will be available in all the ticket outlets from Wednesday the 8th of March, the Kentam promotional tickets are still available in a few outlets,” he said.

He added that so far they have partnered with Zodiak, Kentam products Limited, Print and cut, Recapo, CP investment.

It’s a music event which is all about people who love music

“We are in talks with Umodzi Park to cover the VIP experience, Castel to ensure the steady flow of Cold Alcoholic Beverages, and Coca-Cola to do the same with soft drinks and we are getting positive responses from them,” he said.

Marketing Executive at Kentum Products Andrew Mwase said Bufen, one of the products that they manufacture, has partnered with the event because Bufen is a product that deals with strong pain and it is a product that a lot of Malawians have embraced and have been using.

“To us it is just a way of appreciating Malawians for using the product, looking at the situation where this event is going to attract people from all walks of life, we thought that everybody who has been embracing Bufen, a strong pain killer, will benefit from it,” Mwase said.

He said entertainment is one of the things that brings people together. As such, they thought that they should reach out to them in their togetherness.
