Prophet Bushiri bails out 65 Luanar needy students

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has come to the rescue of Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (Luanar) students by paying a short-notice fee of K26 million.

According to Ephraim Nyondo, Bushiri’s Spokesperson, Luanar leadership wrote the prophet that about 65 students at the higher learning institution will be barred from sitting for their end-of-year examinations due to fees balances.

“Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has today rescued 65 students from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (Luanar) who were about to be denied from writing their end-of-year examinations due to unsorted fees balances. Prophet Bushiri intervened swiftly after the leadership of Luanar wrote him, as an emergency, seeking his hand so that no student is barred from writing examinations,” said Nyondo.

Nyondo also revealed that Prophet Bushiri has a pre-existing bursary scheme and upon learning the urgent need of the situation, he decided to lend his support.

In his words, Professor Emmanuel Kaunda, vice chancellor of Luanar, expressed his immense gratitude towards Bushiri’s kind deeds in ensuring that no student would fail to write their exams.

Bushiri, who is the founder of the Jesus Nation Church has been involved in various charity works in the country, including a bursary scheme.
