Police have decribed Savimbi as a repeat offender with a history of obstructing law enforcement. His latest arrest follows a violent confrontation with immigration officers, during which he allegedly damaged government property, incited a mob, and injured an officer during an ad-hoc checkpoint operation near Namitunda Estate.
