DPP spokesperson Shadric Namalomba says the party has taken note of MBC Director General George Kasakula’s apology to former President Peter Mutharika — but insists it may be “too late to save Jerusalem,” calling for MBC’s disciplinary committee to review Kasakula’s conduct.
Mutharika accused MBC’s leadership of bowing to government interests at the expense of ethical journalism, warning that such practices undermine democracy and the media profession.
