The 2025 MSCE examination results show a 58.44% pass rate, an improvement from last year’s 54.79%. Out of 194,584 candidates, 113,708 qualified for the certificate, with national secondary schools recording the highest success rate at 96.85%.
Although the Ministry of Education has come in to resolve the misunderstandings between teachers marking the 2024 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations and the Malawi National Examinations Board (Maneb) uncertainty reigns over the matter.

The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB), in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, has released results of the 2023 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations which has registered a four percent decline from last year’s results.
