Woman drags Nankhumwa to court over child maintenance issues

A little known woman, Letina Kamwamba, has dragged Leader of Opposition and Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) presidential aspirant, Kondwani Nankhumwa, to court over child maintenance issues.

Kamwamba is demanding assistance from the Mulanje Central Constituency lawmaker towards the raising of the child.

“By this summons, you are hereby ordered to appear before the mentioned court behind Chilambula Admarc Area 4, on the 20th of April 2023 at 9:00 in the forenoon to answer the summons of the above applicant against you for child maintenance. TAKE WARNING that if you fail to attend court on the date and time stated, matter will proceed in your absence,” reads the summons.

Nankhumwa could not be reached for a comment.
