Govt ponders on adopting rotational teachers in public primary schools

The Malawi Government – through the Ministry of Education – is pondering introducing rotational teachers in public primary schools in Malawi.

The Minister of Education, Madalitso Kambawuwa, said this will lessen exhaustion and give ample time for teachers to prepare for their next lesson, among others.

Kambauwa Wirima: government will soon introduce rotational teachers

Kambawuwa added that more teachers are currently being recruited for them to fit into the new system and that they are looking into other developmental issues, which were not tackled in the previous administrations.

She made the sentiments in parliament on Thursday when lawmakers sought to know what the ministry is doing in eradicating challenges facing the education industry.
