The Christian Association of Malawi (CAMW) has expressed joy with the triumphant rulling regarding the extradition case of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) founder and leaders, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and Prophetess Mary Bushiri.
In a press statement, President for CAMW, Bishop Priest-Rabbi Kabvina praises the Almighty God for the victory saying that this will liberate the Bushiris to continue spreading the Gospel unhindered, and empower their charity work to reach more souls.
“The recent court decision lifts the ban, enabling the couple to resume international crusades, reviving the spiritual awakening of the nation. It was a drawback in our Christian community for a solid six years without conducting a crusade, which many souls have failed to receive,” reads part of the statement.

Bishop Kabvina further quoted a word from the Holy Bible as: “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God,” (1 Kings 18:39).
Kabvina also said that as a ministry they are acknowledging God’s sovereignty and mighty hand in this victory.
“As the body of Christ, we stand united in celebration and support of our brothers and sisters in ECG, and indeed all Christians in Malawi and across the globe, as Psalms 122:3 says Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together,” he explained.
He has since congratulated the Bushiris and urge them to persist in serving the Lord with humility, compassion, and dedication.
