The home side played with confidence, pace, and flair, with winger Chikumbutso Salima putting in a Man of the Match performance, scoring once and assisting twice.
The match began at a high tempo, with Bullets immediately putting pressure on the visitors.
Creck looked weak in midfield, where they failed to control possession or stop Bullets from attacking through the wings. Chikumutso Salima, Mike Mkwate, and Wongani Lungu were too quick and skillful for them to handle.

In the 20th minute, after a series of neat passes between Mike Mkwate and Salima, the ball found Wongani Lungu, who made no mistake, firing home to give Bullets the lead.
Creck tried to respond quickly, pushing forward and winning corners, but Bullets remained dangerous every time they attacked. In the 40th minute, they doubled their lead. Mike Mkwate, who was returning from injury and looked in fine form, set up Babatunde Adepoju, who calmly slotted the ball into the net to make it 2-0.
Babatunde – Scored Bullets’ second
By halftime, Bullets were well in control. Creck looked frustrated and lacked ideas in the final third. Their coach, Joseph Kamwendo, made some changes early in the second half, but it did little to stop the hosts’ momentum.
Just seven minutes after the restart, Salima added his name to the scoresheet. He received a clever pass from Lungu, dribbled past a defender, and beat the goalkeeper to score Bullets’ third of the day. His confidence was clear, and so was his impact.

Things got even worse for Creck in the 57th minute. Once again, Salima was involved, this time providing an assist for Yamikani Mologeni, who scored the fourth goal for the home side. The Kamuzu Stadium erupted in celebration as Bullets took a 4-0 lead.
Salima, who had already contributed to three goals, was subbed off in the 73rd minute to a standing ovation. His work was done, and his performance had clearly made the difference.

Creck managed to grab a consolation goal late in the game. In the 91st minute, Kondwani Chilembwe scored with a powerful shot that beat goalkeeper Innocent Nyasulu. But it was far too late to make an impact on the result.
After the match, Bullets head coach Peter Mponda praised his team’s performance and attitude.

“It was a good game considering both our performance and the result. We created many chances and managed to score four goals. After drawing 0-0 in the Airtel Top 8, we went back to training and worked on our weaknesses. The boys applied what we practiced. I’m proud of the way they played today. But we are not going to celebrate too much. We still have a long way to go, and each game must be treated differently,” said Mponda.
On the losing side, Creck SC coach Joseph Kamwendo admitted that his side didn’t show up on the day.
“I think we have to accept the defeat. Today, we didn’t play the way we normally do. We didn’t create enough chances from the first half to the second,” Kamwendo said.

For Creck, it’s back to the drawing board as they search for their first win of the season.
“We had problems in midfield. Bullets were winning the ball and building attacks quickly. We’ve been away for six or seven days, but we don’t want to use that as an excuse. We lost today, but we’ll work hard to win our next game,” added Kamwendo.
With the win, Bullets tops the table with 6 points and a better goal difference of 4 while Creck sit at the bottom of the table with no point and a goal difference of -6. See the log table here.
