Driven by winds of intelligence, a team of Area 3 Police detectives went to Blantyre a week ago, tracing an iphone 6, that was stolen from the house of late Katengeza, almost four months prior to her brutal murder incident.
Whilst in Blantyre, the team took for questioning a cellphone technician who acknowledged receiving the said iPhone 6, and said that he wiped out the gadget’s icloud account bearing late Katengeza’s name, upon advice from the suspect.

After further grilling, he later revealed to have also received from the suspect, an Iphone, iPad and laptop, for the similar task, gadgets that also had Katengeza’s names.
During the time of his arrest after days of manhunt, upon search the suspect was found with an iPad and a power bank, these are some of the items that were stolen from late Katengeza during the time of her gruesome murder.
The team later recovered ENVY HP laptop from a certain businessman within Blantyre market, who also claimed to have acquired the gadget from the suspect.
The law enforcers then went on to trace and recover Iphone 13, that was sold by the suspect at K500 thousand in Maputo, Mozambique.
