A renowned Afro-pop musician Hilda Ulolo known in musical circles as Hilco will this Friday release a new track titled Mwayenera.
In an interview with Malawi News Agency (MANA) Hilco said the track Mwayenera is a praise song which has been dedicated to God and is also meant to communicate to music lovers that in whatever situation God is to be praised.
“I feel like people get carried away with situations and give up but God does not change so I have decided to encourage fellow believers through this track that in all situations, God is with us and everything is possible,” said Hilco.
Mwayenera, which has been produced by tricky and Sispence, is a first gospel track to be released by Hilco since her music career. It will be released together with a video shot by VJ Ken.
Hilco has Sanyada, a single she performed with Jay Jay Cee and did other single tracks titled Forever, Exactly, Chi Bea, Mundiphunzitse and Samalireni featuring Fungie.
A renowned MBC Radio 2 presenter, Joy Nathu said he is expecting Mwayenera to be another big gospel hit considering that Hilco is a good artist whose songs have enjoyed air play in most of the radios.
